It would be helpful to have a demonstration or at least a description of how this actually works. It doesn’t even come with instructions. I placed a piece of 2x4 vertically in the center of the “T,” between the front and back panels (it fits very snug). I then drilled holes in the metal to the exact diameter of the screws provided, in the locations required to hang my tv mount. I pre-drilled smaller pilot holes into the wood, then screwed the tv mount to the proslat universal mount. Finally, I had to use a grinder to cut off the end of the screws; they were too long and so would not allow the mount to sit flush against the proslat wall. At the end of the day, it works great, but it’s no small effort to put it all together. Based on your style of tv mount, I assume you could also put the 2x4 block horizontally across the top of the “T” as well.
